Students painting on canvases in a bright art studio

FINE ART

Foundation · 12 weeks

LEARN TO SEE, THEN TO PAINT

Fine Art Foundation is our flagship studio course. Over twelve weeks you move from line and tone exercises to full-colour oil and acrylic painting, working from still life, interiors and live models. Groups are capped at fourteen so the tutor paints alongside you — demonstrating, correcting and pushing every easel forward.

The term closes with a professionally hung group exhibition in our gallery space, opened to family and friends. Most students arrive with no formal training and leave with framed work and a sketchbook habit for life.
