FROM SKETCHBOOK TO WALL

Graffiti and Street Art is taught by active muralists on our own legal practice walls — no trespassing, no buffed pieces, just eight Saturdays of caps, cans and large-scale painting. You start with handstyles and letter structure in the sketchbook, then scale up through stencils and wheatpaste to a full collaborative wall.

Safety gear, respirators and all paint are provided, and every technique is taught with respect for the culture it comes from. The course finishes with a supervised public mural that stays up — your first permanent piece.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • Eight Saturday sessions, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, on legal practice walls.
  • All spray paint, caps, respirators, gloves and coveralls provided.
  • Letter structure, handstyles, throw-ups and piece composition.
  • Stencil cutting, wheatpaste and roller mural techniques.
  • History sessions on graffiti culture, ethics and the law.
  • Final supervised public mural plus professional photos of your work.

Weeks 1–2 · Letters

Handstyles and letter structure in the blackbook; can-control drills on practice boards.

Weeks 3–4 · Colour

Fades, fills, outlines and highlights — paint your first full piece on the practice wall.

03

Weeks 5–6 · Scale

Stencils, wheatpaste, rollers and working big — plan a collaborative production.

04

Weeks 7–8 · Public wall

Paint a supervised public mural with the crew and document it professionally.
